Minseok Kim
Who would have thought that I would come to
India and go to a school on top of a mountain.
Young boy in Korea did not know what amazing
things were ahead of him while he only cared about
getting rid of studying and enjoying freedom. Kodi
gave me not only freedom but wonderful
experiences and lifelong memories.
I still can’t believe that I graduated from Kodi. I
felt like I was in Neverland like a Peter Pan. Time at
Kodi went too fast and I grew up mentally, not
physically. Since 7th grade, it has been five and a half
years. It seems boring and long, but was full of
excitement.
To talk about my memories, I cannot miss the great
achievement of Mr. Minseok Kim made in the history of
Kodi sports. Although some confused me with a dictator
in some country, everyone agreed with the fact that
Minseok is a legend because he retired after 8th grade.
But I still played (on the bench). Football, basketball, and in any sports
when people heard the name Kim, they knew it was Minseok Kim. Since I
graduated, the story of The Kim will be passed on batch by batch and our
coaches will talk about how much I gained weight in every vacation.
I have always wanted to graduate as soon as possible, but actually facing
the end of the school is bittersweet. The relationship and love I got is
unforgettable. Thank my 2020 batch for everything. We had fun and did a
lot of crazy things. Covid-19 saved us all ironically, but we had the most
talented and amazing members. Also our homies and
Korean fam, u know what it is, don’t need to talk, but
love you all. I’m not gonna cry cause I’m cool and I’ll be
back in 2030. Don’t miss me cause you will see me in the
newspaper. Hope you all have a great future ahead while
keeping the good memories and inspiration at kodi.
Minjae Let’s get it, peace out
Kim
