A BOY AND HIS SPECIAL EGG

CHAPTER ONE

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Tim who lived in a small village with
his parents. One day, his mother asked him to go to the store and buy some

milk. She gave him the exact amount of money he needed to buy the milk and
told him to hurry back home.

As Tim walked down the road, he saw a man selling some rather large, strange-
looking eggs. The man claimed they were dinosaur eggs and that in time they

would hatch into baby dinosaurs. Tim was fascinated by the idea of having a
pet dinosaur, so he asked the man how much the eggs cost.

The man told Tim that his dinosaur eggs were very rare and expensive, but he

was willing to sell him one, Tim asked the man how much it would be for just

one egg, the man replied "Oh they are very, very expensive" , he then asked
Tim "how much money do you have?" the only money that Tim had was the
money his mother had given him to buy the milk, Tim told him how much

money he had, to which the man replied "perfect, that's the exact amount of
money required to buy one of my dinosaur eggs”, Tim hesitated at first, but

the idea of having a pet dinosaur was too tempting to resist. He handed over
the money, took the dinosaur egg, and headed home with his new pet.
