CHAPTER TWO


               Excitedly, Tim headed back home with his new prized dinosaur egg in his hand.

               He couldn't wait to see what kind of dinosaur would hatch from it. But when
               he got home, his mother noticed that Tim did not have any milk with him.


               "Tim, where is the milk I asked you to buy?" she asked.

               Tim felt guilty and ashamed. He knew he had made a mistake by spending the

               money on the dinosaur egg instead of buying the milk. He tried to explain to
               his mother what had happened, but she was very upset.


               "Tim, you should have never spent the milk money on something else," his

               mother scolded him. "Now we have no milk for dinner tonight."

               Tim realized he had made a big mistake. He promised his mother that he

               would never spend money on something he didn't need again. He learned an
               important lesson that day about the value of money and more importantly the

               importance of following instructions.
