Nguyen's family and Mrs. Huan's houses. They were hiding beside
the large foot trees and in Mrs. Huan's coffee plantation to support
their troops attacking the military gas, ammunition, hardware supply
depots and military hospital on the Southside. Also, they run slowly
on Thong-Nhat boulevard to attack the Ban-Be-Thuot treasury, City
hall, and Subsector. The sound of their canon echoed and lightning in
the air for each shooting. It made shaking the ground, and Nguyen's
youngest brother and sisters roared with extreme afraid and crisis.
Nguyen's mother shook her hands and adjourned Christ to help her
family safe, while Nguyen helps his father pull all of the furniture in
the house, setting up a temporary shelter for their family. After all
the family member was in the shelter, his father looked at his watch.

" Viet-Minh stared attack at 12:30 AM. They may open the big
battle because they brought the tanks and canons into the city now.
We were between the battlefield of both sides...!

"Father. We must make a shelter underground for the family
soon as soon as possible..." Nguyen said and looked at his brothers,
while Nguyen father hurried to tell his mother, brother laying down
on the floor.

"Nguyen, tell your mom and all of you must lay on the floor.
Don't sit up until I tell them. We were among their battlefield now."

Nguyen looked at Trung-Dung.

"Trung-Dung, May you crawl across the kitchen door then crawl
into the storehouse to take the hoe and shovel? Trung-Quan and I
must move father bed. We make the shelter in his room." Nguyen
said.

"Trung-Dung, don't get out the door this time. Let I go to the
storehouse and take them for you." Nguyen's mother gave Trung-
Dung a worried look and said.

"No. Mother...! You could not do it!" Nguyen said.
