Then Came the Gory

Alarmed, leaders of his old church came from Addis Ababa and Awassa with flattery to entice him and his
converts to return, but they did not succeed. He built a beautihil church on his farm and before long this church had started seven branch works and is wealthy in healings and miracles.
In a conference June 28 at his gate the Lord healed
many people before the ministry had a chance to lay hands on them. This convinced observers from the Evangelical
Church and the heathen of the power of the Gospel. Village leaders who supported the work defeated the arguments of denominational critics who tried to hinder the conference.
Brother Nejo's wife suffered from acute urethral disease and went to Tikur Anbess hospital for surgery. The doctor made a serious mistake and left her unable to control her urine. A second operation made matters worse and the doctors told her nothing could be done to help her. Prayer with anointing oil in the name of Jesus stopped the pain and restored her to normal. This unexpected miracle astounded the community who responded by gathering up many patients
suffering from a wide variety of diseases and bringing them to the church for prayer. All of them received complete
healing.
Molla Bedamo's wife. Tutu lived naked and
