Then Came the Glory
pushed my intestines back in my stomach and took me to the hospital. As I lay in the hospital without any hope of life I prayed, God, if you will hed me, I will worship you.
"God heard my prayer and sent the Apostolics to
pray for us and Jesus healed all of us. I will worship Him the rest of my life."
"Enough! the officials yelled, "Stop your preaching!" They sent him out of the office.
They called Sister Zenebech in and asked, "What made you change your religion in your old age?"
"I have not changed, I cling firmly to my religion.' The official questioned her scornfully, "What do you
know?"
"I understand the Word of God says. He that
believeth and is bcptized shdl be saved
"Where is that found?" the official asked in a harsh
voice.
She pointed toward me and replied, "Ask the
preacher."
The official turned to the Orthodox priests and asked,
"Is what the woman said true?"
Sister Zenebech interrupted, "No, No. I don't mean
them; I mean our preacher," and pointed again toward me. Astounded, the questioner asked, "How did they
poison her mind?" and sent her out of the office.
They questioned a few more people, then said, "There is no need of further interrogation, because their
answers are all the same."
Releasing all the believers except me, they put me in a vehicle to take me to the provincial police office. The
Orthodox priests objected, saying, "It is not enough to arrest only him. Take Dejene, and these two women Elfmesh and
