 Then Came the Glory
Becton brought a wonderful message with many prophesies
and then asked for the Amharic word meaning water. We told him wuha. He explained as a natural cloud carries the
water and pours it upon the earth so our omnipresent God can pour Ae Holy Spirit upon us. He cried out, "Wuha! Wuha!" and without wind or a human hand touching it, the canvas overhead spilled it's contents on the worshipers. The Holy Ghost moved on them mightily; they spoke in other tongues as trees bent by the wind. Those on whom the water fell regarded it as extraordinary grace and rejoiced in being soaked! This story is told repeatedly all over the land as a
wonderful demonstration of God's great power.
Journalists from the media recorded the happening and wanted to broadcast it on the news. The zealot enemies
of the church tried to block them. The journalists replied. If we don't transmit the true stories about this church, whose
should we tell? The other churches are cold and lifeless.
In this glorious day of opportunity, God has anointed
many workers to proclaim the true Gospel in Addis. And Satan has raised up many false prophets to mislead the
people, but their efforts can be defeated by prayer and
fasting.
A group of himgry hearted people met together in
Akaki and fasted and prayed for eight months, asking the Lord to reveal His truth to them-and He did. They thought no one but them had this revelation, since it came from heaven and no man had taught them. One of our brothers visited them and heard a taped song at their house that made him curious.
He asked, "What is your belief?"
"We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. He is
Jehovah manifested in flesh." 176
