 Then Came the Glory
Nazareth and started construction of a church. We organized
choirs, the youth, and the women to work for the Lord. As the sheep tied with a long rope thinks she is free, the rope
will not allow her to go where she will.
Brother Ashenafi Andarge spoke to some of the
brothers and sisters secretly and the next thing we knew, the
church in Nazareth is closed and they have all gone back to
the headquarters church. We were too angry to evaluate if
this action is from God or from Satan. We accused Brother
Tekle of plotting against us and wrote many letters and
accusations against him to various government offices for
vengeance. We had no success and nothing we did changed the wUl of God nor hindered the Church boxmd to Jesus
Christ.
Matthew 16:19 reads: Again I say unto yon, Thcti if two of you shall agree on earth as touclnng ary thing that
they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
And Matthew 28:20 declares. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I hove commanded you: and
lo, I am with you dway, even unto the end of the world These words witnessed against us and we remained
empty handed. This time of severe temptations brought back the diseases that plagued me before my conversion and the
doctor could not cure me. God did not refuse me food, but
my boimd spirit denied me the refreshing of the Word and spiritual nourishment. I foimd idleness difficult so I took employment in a bank and began attending night school to pass the time imtil Jesus turned his face toward me again.
In 1981 I visited the saints in Assela, and on my return the Lord impressed me with Matthew 5:25,26: A^ee with tine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with
