The Identity of Jesus Christ
Neither does he lose life because he breathes out .now and then. Likewise, God did not get smaller or suffer shortage when He, by His Word, created the
world, nor did He become short of breath when He gave the breath of life to humanity. His Word and His spirit do not at all change, reduce, or put an end to His deity. In order to fulfill His promise to Eve in Genesis 3:15, God the Father manifested in His Son, that is, in flesh begotten of the Virgin Mary. Thus the prophecy of Psalm 2:7 was fulfilled: "Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee."
