The Identity of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ declared. "Ail things are deliv ered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him" (Matthew 11:27). By this state
ment, Fie made it evident that the identity of the Fa ther and the Son remains a great mystery to angels and humans alike unless He reveals Himself to them. When He revealed Himself to His apostles they became bold enough to say,^ "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we
have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (for the life was manifested and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) that which we have seen and heard de clared we unto you" (1John1:1-3). (See Matt 13:11.)
John 1:1-4,14 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were, made by Him; and without Him was
not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us." According to this passage of Scriptures, the essence of God the
Father is the Word and the breath of life.
Psalm 33:5-6 states, "The earth is full of the
goodness of the LORD. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by
