40:13-14). Indeed, God did and does everything alone. Angels play only the part of messengers in executing His plans. He neyer seeks their coun selor that of anyone.
Moses, Isaiah, and Ezekiel witnessed in their visions that God is encircled by wonderful angels and that He is full of glory and majesty. They indicated that the angels appeared to them in human like form. Ezekiel's vision is a good exam ple: "And the hand of the LORD was there upon him. And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a
man" (Ezekiel 1:3-5).
The tabernacle made by the prophet Moses
was the shadow pf heavenly reality (Hebrews 8:5). The two cherubim standing on the mercy seat just over the ark, which represented God's presence, indicated that God has angelic servants to attend
Him. This is what Isaiah saw about God in his vi sion (Exodus 25:8-22; Isaiah 6:1-3).
Isaiah recorded his vision of God like this: "In the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it, stood the
