Ramielo Assembly
8th July Friday 2022
Dear Diary,
Today was a very interesting day as it was our Ramailo Assembly.
Both sections of grade 7 performed and it was awesome.
I reached school and I went to put my bag in the classroom. As
soon as I entered I could hear my classmates excitedly talking
about the assembly. I went to my friends and they showed me
their costumes and makeup.
It was our dance class so we headed down. On the way I ran into
Miss Sarita and she told me that Saanvi would be late as she had a
pretty bad headache but she would come at 2 o'clock.
We had 2 periods of dance class so as you can guess I was extreme-
ly tired. We did have short breaks but dancing 90 minutes was a
pretty tough task. We also had a last minute change, but it went
well.
After the dance we had our lunch break, so me and my friends ate
lunch and we sat on a bench. One of my friends was the narrator
of the play we were doing ‘Anne Frank’. My other friend was the
secretary and I was the villain. Since we all had major parts we
helped each other out. After lunch we practiced the play and the
dance at least 4 times.
Time flew by really quickly and it was time for the moment that
I had been waiting for, for 1 month. We put on our costumes and
makeup and went to the auditorium.
First we had our musical performance cover of ‘Aashish’ by Bipul
chettri. I was so scared that I would miss my part but it all went
well. After that we had 7B do the cover of ‘Scars to your beautiful’
by Alessia Cara. Thereafter it was announced that we were going
to have 3 speeches. I thought it was going to be boring but to my
surprise I related so much to the content of the speeches. Then we
had our play ‘Anne Frank’. I was nervous but it all went well. The
play went smoothly and at the end I noticed some audience mem-
bers with tears followed by a loud applause.7B had a nepali poem.
The Ramielo assembly came to an end with us dancing to Dua Lipa
and Jason Derulo songs of course.
I can’t describe how fun it was.
Goodbye ,
Can’t wait to share my day with you tomorrow.
Yours,
Prachi
