Dangerous Sports:

                                                                                               A Life

                                                    Changing Experience

Risks exist everywhere we go. Life is full of them. They are what make one’s life inter-
esting and thrilling. An example of risks are dangerous sports that have a likelihood of severely
injuring a person or even taking one’s life. Despite this, these sports are common and are con-
ducted throughout the world. They are enjoyed by millions; even with all the dangers. Howev-
er, if taken proper precautions and safety measures, these sports will not only be delightful but
                will create a lifetime experience.

A sport can be classified as dangerous if it involves the risk of injury or death of a
person. These include falls, slips, scratches, bruises or technical errors. They are practiced
by people around the globe, either for entertainment or as a profession. People earn money
by hosting these sports for others who dare to risk their lives. In spite of this, there are many
safety precautions that one should take beforehand. The first and most important point is that
these sports must always be performed under the supervision of trained professionals. A per-
son should always be tightly strapped to a seat, parachute or harness. Finally, trust yourself and
your instructor and reveal your inner adventurer.

The diversity in these sports is remarkable. They go from jumping off a plane to climb-
ing the highest peaks. The most well-known of these sports is probably vehicle racing. This in-
cludes cars and motorbike contests. Millions of people indulge in viewing and even participat-
ing in these heart-stopping races. The average speeds of vehicles are over 150 miles per hour.
One wrong move, and the rider will be brutally injured or even killed. With one in hundred
people dying in crashes, there have been thousands of fatalities. If not hosted correctly, these
become a life or death situation. Bike racing is even more dangerous without a sturdy cage or
                seatbelt to protect oneself.

Jumping from tens of thousands of feet above the air may not sound enticing to most
people. However, it is a recreational sport done by hundreds of thousands across the world.
Skydiving is the art of jumping off an aircraft with a parachute. Though fatality levels are not
too high, safety measures are crucial. If these measures are not applied correctly, the diver
can get seriously hurt and probably even killed. Improper parachutes and untrained profes-
sionals are the primary reasons for such disasters. However, if carried out precisely, it can be a
                life-changing experience.

A sport that is not only fascinating but tests one’s physical capacity is rock climbing. As
its name suggests, the sport involves climbing rocky cliffs and ridges. Without the safety of a
parachute, the climbers solely rely on special protective gear like harnesses or ropes. However,
