He added that they built a brand new
pharmacy in 1992 and then in 2011 added
additional extensions to the pharmacy in
Ashfield. The pharmacy in Arnold has also
been extended upon, and just five years ago,
Michael purchased the property next door to
make space for additional consultation rooms.
“That's where we are to this day, really.”

One of the pharmacies greatest
achievements over the last 40 years, is
developing a ‘drive through pharmacy’, which
Michael believes is one of only two that exist

“It's all changed now, maybe for the good.
Overall we've moved on with all the new
technologies and refitted the pharmacies.”
Michael believes that having great
relationships with the community and
customers is imperative to helping the
longevity of the pharmacy. One of the more
memorable times his pharmacy has helped
support his customers was when they ran an
oxygen therapy service. “It’s amazing how
the patients still remember us setting up the
oxygen cylinders and one of the relatives of
the patients still coming in and talk about it.
They were all part of the service which we
provided.”
