Delivery Driver Induction Programme
The Delivery Driver Induction will take place during the first week of their employment. There
are 7 key sections that must be completed during this weekEssential Documents
• Essential Documents
• Health and Safety
• Human Resources
• Information Governance
• PhoenixLearn Mandatory Training
• Security
• Superintendents Department
Each section has a checklist to ensure all the necessary documents and guidance,
relevant to the Delivery Driver role, are read and understood. The checklists are not meant
to be exhaustive and may need to be amended to reflect on your own or the Company’s
requirements. Although many of the elements focus on the specific requirements of the
Delivery Driver role, some will help them to develop an understanding of the Company as a
whole
Buttercups Training Course
If not already completed, the Delivery Driver will need to be enrolled on and complete the
Support Staff Course for Pharmacy Delivery Drivers.
To enrol on the course, complete and return the Learner Agreement, sent via e-mail, within
5 days of receipt.
This is an e-learning course, hosted by b-Hive learning system.
The Delivery Driver should be given time and support to complete the course, which should
take approximately 3 months to complete.

Pharmacy Manager to familiarise themselves with the 7 sections of the
induction programme
Print out the following documents:
• Bump Card
• Chip & Signature Fuel Cards
• Delivery drivers ID badge request (complete electronically)
• DVLA Mandate
• Driver Acceptance Form
• Emergency contact details (keep a copy with you)
• Fleet Services Contact Numbers
• Home delivery service- Driver Guidance
• Tyre Checks
• Vehicle off Road Form
• Vehicle off Road Process
• Weekly Vehicle Check sheet
