The Brand Switch and Generic Switch propositions have been a
feature of the portal for a few years - and enable your dispensary to
benefit from better margins on particular products - with the PSUK
Portal switching your orders to the optimal option.

Brand Switch & Generic Switch

Formerly known as MyDeals and APM+, these
tools have been rebranded based on member
feedback to better reflect their purpose:

• Brand Switch: Supports brand-to-brand
medication switches.

• Generic Switch: Covers brand-to-generic
as well as MR/SR/XL switches.

The PSUK team constantly review the
discounts available in the market to look
for opportunities that drive benefits to
dispensing doctors.

You can review these switches on the portal
and activate them to ensure compliance
across the dispensing team when ordering.

This could be switching orders at the point of
an off patent to ensure the generic is always
supplied, or identifying potential switches
where prescriptions are written generically
with no generic available - the MyDeal will
ensure the brand giving the best benefit is
ordered.
