1. Workforce Enabler Declaration – 31 March
st
Declare on NECAF the number of hours of staffing at
each training banding level per annum for up to two
members of staff.
Payments are made monthly, pro-rata against 37.5 hour
week.
2. Continuity Scheme – 31 March
st
Declare on the WP34C for the relevant month that:
Number of days CAS was available - eligible for a
payment of £210.59 if 80% or more.
Number of days the Contraception Service was available
- eligible for a payment of £210.59 if 80% or more.
3. Independent prescribing claims – 31 March
st
For Pharmacies offering Independent Prescribing (IP)
services declare the number of hours availability and
number of consultations that month.
4. Quality and safety Scheme: Carbon Literacy Training
e-learning – 31 March
st
All pharmacy employees involved in the provision of
NHS pharmaceutical services at the pharmacy will have
completed the Carbon Literacy e-learning (see DT for
detail)
Payment will be made to all contractors who complete a
declaration on NECAF.
5. Quality and safety Scheme: Welsh National Workforce
Reporting System – 31 March
st
Quarterly submission activity by 31st March. Any
changes in the WNWRS to your workforce data that
may have taken place during the quarter e.g. change of
hours
Annual payment of £2,800 paid in monthly instalments
of £233.33.
6. CG and ISMS toolkit – 31 March
st
Completion of Information Security Management
System (ISMS) & Clinical Governance (CG) Toolkit data.
7. Collaborative working – 31 March
st
A total of £1939.70 (6 x £277.10 + £277.10 bonus) per
pharmacy per year for attending 6 meetings in a year.
This can be comprised of: 3 meetings of pharmacy
collaboratives and 3 with other Healthcare Professionals
OR 4 meetings of pharmacy collaboratives and 2 with
other Healthcare Professionals.
8. Dispensing Compensation Mechanism – 31 March
st
A dispensing compensation payment is available to
contractors who see a monthly prescription volume
decrease of over 7% due to GP prescribing adjustments
that increase treatment periods. This decrease is
compared to the average prescription volume from April
2021 to March 2022 (the reference period), adjusted by
an additional 1.59%.
