Upcoming contractual dates for April

England, Wales and Scotland

1. Directory of Services (DoS) - Between 1st April – 30th June 2024
Pharmacies are required to verify and where necessary, update
the information contained in their NHS website profile and their
Directory of Services (DoS) profile using the Profile Manager at
least each quarter of the financial year.
This is a mandatory requirement for all contractors.

England

1. COVID-19 spring vaccination service commences – 1st April
Pharmacies currently providing the COVID-19 vaccination
service will be able to extend the duration of their current
contract to provide the service until 31st August 2024. This
extension is to provide cover for the spring booster programme.

2. Pharmacy First service – otoscope pathway – 1st April
Deadline for having an otoscope to use with the otitis media
pathway and to start providing this pathway (excludes
distance selling pharmacies).

3. Annual complaints report - April
Pharmacy owners must send a copy of their annual complaints
report to the local NHS contract management team as soon
as reasonably practicable after the end of the year to which
the report relates.

This is a mandatory requirement for all pharmacy owners.
4. NMS: Submission of electronic reporting template – from
1st April
Pharmacies can voluntarily submit their completed NMS
electronic reporting template to the NHSBSA for Q4.
