Awareness Dates

in October

This month we wanted to highlight some of the deals you could
be taking advantage of, in correspondence with some of the

upcoming health awareness dates.

This October we will be focusing on:

World Sight Day
World Sight Day is on Thursday 12th October 2023, and is dedicated to focusing
the world’s attention to the importance of eye care in the work place.
The aim for them, is that we as a collective, will encourage employers to make
eye health initiatives standard practice and promote eye health habits.
Follow the hashtag #LoveYourEyes and see how others are taking part in
improving eye health.

Restart a heart
Restart a Heart Day is an annual training event on Monday 16th October, relating
to CPR and defibrillator use or first aid surrounding heart attacks.
Right now this training is more important than ever, with fewer than 1 in 10
people surviving out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in the UK.
