PSUK have been working closely with Gedeon Richter to highlight to members the commercial benefits of
their Dispensing Doctor Discount Scheme.
As of 1st August 2024, Gedeon Richter decided to increase the MDS rebate on Vagirux (Estradiol) 10mcg
Vaginal Tablets from 8% up to 20%.
This increase means that members can make £1.00 profit per pack.
In addition to the rebate increase, the standard monthly rebate cap on Vagirux has also been increased to
40 packs per practice.
The table below highlights how Vagirux compares commercially to the other brand of Estradiol 10mcg
Vaginal Tablets that are also available - please be aware that this table includes a product that PHOENIX
do not distribute, so any discount information shown will need to be checked with the relevant wholesaler
before you make any changes in your practice.
