Aspire Pharma
The second manufacturer that is increasing the MDS rebate available on one of their products in August is
Aspire Pharma.
Back in February, Aspire Pharma added their Staladex (Leuprorelin) Implant to their scheme offering all
PSUK members a 35% rebate.
We are pleased to let you know that as of 1st August, the rebate available on Staladex has been increased
to 50%.
This new and improved MDS rebate means that members can now make a profit of £81.05 per pack, even
after we have factored in 11.18% clawback.
We do also want to take this opportunity to remind members that sign up is required to the Aspire Pharma
MDS and that there is a standard monthly rebate cap of 100 packs per product per practice on the Aspire
Pharma scheme.
The table below shows the new Staladex discount and compares it to the other Leuprorelin 11.25mg
products that are also available:

Almirall
The third supplier that is increasing an MDS rebate as of 1st August is Almirall.
Back in May, Almirall increased the MDS rebate on Wynzora Cream to 9.5%. We are pleased to inform you
that Almirall are increasing the discount available on Wynzora Cream to 17.5%
This new and improved discount means that members can now a profit of £2.25 per pack.
Wynzora is now the most profitable brand within the Vitamin D Analogues/Corticosteroid therapy area.
The table below lists all of the branded products available in 60g tubes within this therapy area and includes
all of their product, pricing, discount and profitability information.
You will need to check with Alliance Healthcare what the MDS discount is on Leo Pharma products and
what we have included in the below table is an assumed discount.
