MESSAGE

Dear Cochin IAPians,
Respected Seniors and colleagues,

It is with profound sense of honour and humility that I accept the position of President of IAP
Cochin branch. This role graced by illustrious predecessors such as the Late K.K. Sivadasan
and leading figures like Dr. Sachidananda Kammath, comes with a legacy of excellence and
commitment. The vibrant blend of seasoned professionals and dynamic young members in
our branch is truly remarkable and it is their synergy that has elevated our branch to new
heights as evidenced by the recently concluded Pedicon’24 - a conference that has set a new
benchmark in our history.

The success of Pedicon’24 is not just a testament to our organisational capabilities, but a
reflection of the unity and collaborative spirit among the paediatricians of Kochi. Few of the
noteworthy innovations of Pedicon 2024 was learning on waves and environment friendly
conference including E-Auto.

I am confident that with the guidance of our senior members, the support of the IAP Cochin
community and the dedication of my team, we will continue to uphold and advance the val-
ues and standards that our branch is known for.
We will be continuing our activities at child care centre and striving towards a learning
friendly school initiative. We will be conducting drug awareness campaigns in collaboration
with R C, SCMS and other institutions. The ongoing programmes like monthly CME and PG
training program will be continued. There are 2 state conferences that we will be hosting and
will look forward to your continued support and patronage.
