3M™ Cold Shrink QS-III Inline Shielded Splice Kit 5545A

3M™ Cold Shrink QS-III Splic Kit 5545A Series are inline splices for joining 46 kV Tape, Wire, LC, and UniShield® power cables. The cold shrink splice
body is a one-piece molded design made of specially formulated silicone rubbers, while the jacketing is made of EPDM rubber for its special physical
properties. Each splice is high-voltage production tested to ensure reliability.
The splice can be used with standard copper (Cu) or aluminum (Al/Cu) inline compression (crimp type) connectors, and can be used for size transitions
within the listed kit size range. The kit is designed to exceed minimum industry test standards, and has a BIL rating of 250 kV. The 3M™ Cold Shrink QS-
III Splice 5545A meets or exceeds the 46 kV Voltage Class rating requirements of IEEE 404.
Each kit makes one splice. Connectors are not included in the kit and must be ordered separately. Medium Voltage Splice Kits,
