HEATING SYSTEMS The Main Campus has one main heating plant located at Cheyenne Street  and 13th Street that distributes steam to buildings throughout the campus.  The heating plant distributes its steam piping via over two miles of piping in  the campus utility tunnels creating a loop around campus. There are several  known “pinch points” within this piping system where the steam velocities  would exceed 140 feet per second. These “pinch poi















                                                      Berthoud Hall, Spruce Hall (Res Hall VI), and CoorsTek. It has a current
                                                                                       (CP5). CP5 is a stand-alone building located just east of Alderson Hall and
                                                         capacity of 1,300 tons and total building load of 1,939 tons. It has space
                                                                                          provides chilled water to the USGS Building, Alderson Hall, Marquez Hall,
                                                                           Center, Coolbaugh House, Center for Academic Services and Advising
                                                               plant will be adding one (1) additional 1,300 ton chiller and associated
