Alice Zecchin –
Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, Meditation Teacher, Italy
For nearly fourteen years, Alice Zecchin carried a quiet dream in her heart — to become a Yoga teacher. In Italy, she began her Teacher Training, but the program left her dissatisfied. While she owned and ran a thriving Holistic Center in Italy, where massage therapy, Reiki, and meditation were her specialties, she felt that her Yoga journey was missing depth, authenticity, and a true connection to the roots of the practice.
Then, fate intervened. Her husband received a prestigious five-year posting in Bengaluru, India. Seeing this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Alice decided to turn her dream into reality. She reached out to Adhiyogi and invited him to her spacious, luxurious apartment in Bengaluru to guide her through a complete 200-hour Teacher Training.
The training was conducted in two distinct phases, allowing her to absorb the teachings deeply and integrate them into her daily life. Under Adhiyogi’s personal guidance, Alice discovered an entirely new dimension of Yoga — one that went far beyond postures and sequences.
“This chapter of my training with my master teacher Neel,” she says, “is about getting confidence with my inner space connected to my physical body. It has been a deep experience where I am now more aware of myself and what I truly need — whether in food, exercises, or the activities I choose to do.”
Adhiyogi encouraged her to be herself 100% — authentic, grounded, and free from unnecessary imitation. He instilled in her not just the skills to teach, but the spirit of Yoga itself, urging her to spread knowledge and love for traditional Yoga to the world.
Through his guidance, Alice began teaching even while still in training. “With this open mind, and a few important rules, I can express myself and share Yoga. Isn’t that super cool?” she laughs.
Her journey with Adhiyogi unlocked a deeper, richer world of Yoga she had been seeking for years — a world where self-awareness, personal growth, and authentic teaching intertwine. Today, Alice continues to integrate her Yoga teaching into her holistic healing work, touching lives with a combination of ancient wisdom and modern compassion.
“Thank you, Neel,” she says warmly. “You were worth the fourteen-year wait.” OM Shantiḥ.
