Cinzia Rinzivillo – From Italy to the World
When Cinzia Rinzivillo first joined Adhiyogi’s 200-hour Teacher Training in Pune, she was already an experienced yoga practitioner, but she was looking for something deeper — a teacher who could not only refine her skills but help her find her own voice as a teacher.
Adhiyogi always began his trainings with a preparatory review class for incoming trainees. When Cinzia arrived for hers, he observed her practice carefully and, with a knowing smile, told her, “The 200-hour training is not enough for you — you’re ready for advanced training, at least 500 hours!” It was a statement that both humbled and inspired her, setting the tone for her entire journey.
That first training was so fulfilling that she indeed went on to complete her full 500-hour Yoga Alliance certification with Adhiyogi. Under his guidance, she received direct, honest feedback on her teaching, learning to identify her strengths and work diligently on areas that needed growth. He encouraged her to step outside the comfort zone of established yoga schools and traditions, to experiment, and to develop her own style. “Be clear, be concise, be direct,” he told her — words that became a mantra for her teaching.
Her dedication and quality were evident from the start, and on her certificate, Adhiyogi personally noted that she was a “top quality student.” During that vibrant time in Pune, they met many Italians who were also part of a growing community around the Shala, sharing yoga, stories, and friendship.
Cinzia stayed in Pune for the next 10 years, gradually becoming a well-known and respected teacher in the city. Her classes drew a loyal following, and she built a reputation for her clarity, precision, and ability to connect with students of all backgrounds.
Her journey didn’t stop there. From Pune, she traveled to Mexico, where she established her own yoga school, bringing Adhiyogi’s principles to a new community. Now, she continues her mission in Vietnam, sharing her knowledge and experience with students in yet another corner of the world.
Cinzia’s story is one of dedication, adaptability, and global spirit. From Italy to India, Mexico to Vietnam, her journey reflects the very essence of Adhiyogi’s teaching — that yoga is not confined to a place or tradition, but is a living, evolving practice that can thrive wherever the student dares to take it.
OM Shantiḥ.
