Dr. Aparna Jojare – Ayurvedic Physician
When Dr. Aparna Jojare, a respected Ayurvedic physician, decided to join Adhiyogi’s 50-hour Teacher Training, she expected to deepen her yoga knowledge — but she left with far more than she had imagined.
Though short in duration, the training was profound in impact. Adhiyogi’s unique system, Adhiyoga, combined ancient wisdom with modern precision, showing her how to teach yoga in a way that honors everyone’s capacity. She learned not just the “what” of asanas, but the “how” and “why” — how to synchronize breath with movement, how to perfect a posture, how to use supports effectively, and how to time each segment of practice, from vinyasa to pranayama.
The training also gave her the skills to work with diverse groups — from children to adults with specific needs — while honing her ability to deliver instructions simply, clearly, and effectively. Though already proficient in asanas, she learned to go deeper, exploring the essence of each pose with a refined focus.
Adhiyogi noticed that Aparna was a sweet, charming, and highly educated lady, but she carried certain fears when it came to stepping out professionally. With patience and encouragement, he dedicated time and effort to build her self-confidence. By the end of the course, that transformation was undeniable. On her certification day, she declared with joy, “Thanks to Adhiyogi, I am starting my own Ayurvedic Clinic tomorrow!” — and she did.
Most importantly, Adhiyogi’s guidance went beyond the mat. He showed her that yoga practice should be shaped to fulfill one’s personal life goals — and that, in turn, the same focused, methodical approach could be applied to any pursuit in life. For Dr. Aparna, it was not just professional enrichment, but a roadmap for living with purpose and clarity.
OM Shantiḥ.
