कममिं बवु धयिु ा दह फलं त्मयक्त्मवा मनीवषणः । िरमबरधववतनमिमु ाः पदं गरछरत्मयनामयम ् ॥ २-५१॥
Bhagavadgita 2.51: Those who are endowed with understanding of the genuine Shâstras, give up the fruits born of works. They are freed from bondage of birth- death and go to that abode where there is no evil.
ध्यायतो ववषयारपंसु ः सङ्गस्तेषपू िायते । सङ्गात्मसञ्जिायते कामः कामात्मिोधोऽशभिायते ॥ २-६२॥
िोधाद्भवतत स्मोहः स्मोहात्मस्मतृ तववभ्रमः ।
स्मतृ तभ्रंशाद् बवु धनाशो बवु धनाशात्मप्रणश्यतत ॥ २-६३॥
Bhagavadgita 2.62-63: To a man, dwelling in his mind on the objects of the senses, attachment to them is developed; from attachment arises desire, from desire arises anger, from anger there comes delusion, from delusion arises loss of memory, from loss of memory comes the destruction of power of discrimination, and with the destruction of discrimination, man perishes.
