 Therefore, if you drink seawater, your kidney will not be able to filter it, probably leading to its failure, and eventually if it gets extreme enough, death.
I​n conclusion, seawater is something we should not
consume as humans because of what it can do to us. Just like me, other people wondered why we couldn't consume seawater and why we haven't found a way to make it edible, but because of all the health precautions and the difficulty of actually getting it, seawater is not the way to go. Seawater makes your body do extra work because your body is not used to consuming the amount of salt that is found in seawater. Drinking seawater is also so much more of a job because finding freshwater is already difficult for workers so getting seawater from all around the world is only going to be 3 times harder. Even though thousands of people struggle to find fresh consumable water every day, seawater is not any better because of its health concerns.
