causing more anxiety, consider writing a list of things you can do to make yourself feel a bit better or write a list of things you're grateful for. Writing about your anxiety also helps you process that anxiety because attaching words to how you feel helps to shape how you feel. It softens your feelings, making them malleable enough for you to begin to work with them.

breathing, or listening to music helps you calm down. There are other things you can also do when feeling anxiety. Anxiety is a normal, highly subjective human emotion. While normal anxiety serves a beneficial and adaptive purpose, anxiety can also become the cause of tremendous suffering for millions of people. Most people feel anxious or scared sometimes, but if it's affecting your life there are things you can try that may help.

working toward a
well-balanced
diet with
adequate fruits,
vegetables, lean
meats, and
healthy fats remains a good recommendation for those who struggle with anxiety. Avoiding processed foods and foods high in sugar means the body experiences fewer highs and lows of blood sugar, which helps to further reduce feelings of anxiety. Very simply put, a sugar rush can mimic a panic attack. Healthy guidelines such as eating a balanced diet, drinking enough water to stay hydrated, and limiting or avoiding alcohol and caffeine, (along with other dietary considerations) can help relieve anxiety.
