It takes a long time, it costs a lot—and it requires showing up to multiple in-person
appointments. When Swedes Saman Amel and Dag Granath first set up the brand
Saman Amel as a custom clothier, however, they brought a modern attitude,
appealing prices, and a Scandinavian sense of minimalism to the old-school way
of making clothes. Their bespoke options require just one visit, for one thing. T H E S U M M E R

they’re bringing that same mentality out of the showroom and into reach for
