(d) Science and Nature Corner
This is an exploration centre where children discover and experiment with nature and science concepts in groups. This corner (see Figure 2.5) provides opportunities for children to actively learn about science and nature through observation. Through science and nature centre, children practise their high thinking order skills when they try to infer, connect, synthesise nature and the environment. They compare sorts and categories objects or items based on shared properties. Through science and nature activities, childrenÊs thinking and cognitive skills develop rapidly.
