levels of stimulation is the best environment for infants and toddlers to engage in active play. This area should be divided into spaces of interest of different domains and consistent with the developmental capabilities of the children. It should offer a number of choices of appropriate toys, objects and activities for infants and toddlers to develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically.
Boundaries such as risers and play panels can be placed or designed to stimulate gross and fine motor actions. The height and depth of boundaries must be appropriate to prevent infants and toddlers from climbing over or falling out. Larger toys such as dolls, trucks, doll house, and mini kitchen can be placed in this area. A storage compartment, cloth hanging, soft carpet and low table with several chairs also can be included in this area. Figure 3.1 shows an example of infant and toddler space.

3.1.2 Enriched Space for Toddlers and Infants
Enriched spaces for infant and toddler must encourage movement and exploration. This space should help infants and toddlers feel comfortable and safe to engage in a variety of tasks that match their abilities and development. It not only provides a comfortable environment for them to rest but also provides a rich experience through a variety of developmentally appropriate materials and
