P. 2
INTRODUCTION
As we enter the Spring /Summer 2021 Curriculum, the focus of our lessons turns to the theme of
salvation. Unit I, "God’s Saving Grace," has four (4) lessons, Unit II, “Restoring Relationships,” has four
(4) lessons and Unit III includes three (3) Workshops. This curriculum is created for adults in small
congregations. This curriculum is designed to attend to the ways that God is at work in our lives and to
facilitate cooperation with God's grace.
This extended study is stocked with rich explanation and engaging videos that bring catechesis to life for
adults, but first stops to reflect on one's spiritual journey. It aligns vertically aligns to ensure every
attendee completes an enrichment program. In the words of Westerhoff, until we have converted
grown-up adults living faithfully in a community of faith which expresses in every aspect of its corporate
life the tradition it professes, neither the transformation nor the formation of children in Christian faith
will be possible." 1 May this curriculum bless, guide, and inspire.
SUBJECT AREA PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
We believe that Christian education involves faith-integrated learning, faith nurture, and communal
gathering. Through intransigence, we learn to apply analytical problem solving to everyday situations.
Our curriculum emphasizes the process of reaching glorification.
