CloudCenter Tools and Management Agent

 VMs that are managed by CloudCenter require a management agent to run
on each VM.

CloudCenter can provision VMs without an agent, but you lose CloudCenter

management functionality post deployment. We will discuss this use case
in Module

 CloudCenter Tools are installed inside the images mapped in CloudCenter.
When organizations bring their own images you pre-install CloudCenter Tools
on the images.

CloudCenter Tools do initial VM configuration and have bootstrapping files
to install the management agent at deployment time

 For supported clouds CloudCenter Tools do not have to be pre-installed on the
images. CloudCenter will use cloud-init to do initial VM configuration and

install CloudCenter Tools at deployment time
