2-Digital citizenship

Footprint (ةيمقرلا ةمصبلا): It is a record of everything you do online (the

websites you visit – everything you share with others).
Digital citizenship (ةيمقرلا ةنطاوملا): The ability to use digital technology in a
safe and responsible way to get its benefits and to protect your digital footprint.

Some techniques that are parts of digital citizenship:
1. Respect other people and be responsible by : crediting sources.
2. Use the internet safely by:
➢ Setting strong passwords.
➢ Update your software regularly.
➢ Choosing the websites, you use wisely(ةمكحب).

➢ Control the time you spend online.

Piracy(hacking): It is illegal ( ينوناق ريغ) use of content with aim of sharing or
selling it to others.
