4. Contact your customers or employer
I want you to know that all of those things actually do happen to taxpayers who do not pay the taxes
they owe. We know because we have many clients come into our office for a free consultation who tell
us it has already happened to them!
The most important thing I can tell you is to take action as soon as possible to resolve your taxes. This
will show the government you are not trying to commit criminal tax evasion by ignoring your tax
obligations.
