“Oh, yes,” replied Carl, “lots and lots of berries! All shapes, sizes, and colors.”

“I love berries!” exclaimed Ray Jay. “Perhaps you would share with me how to get there

so that I might indulge my appetite for these tasty treats?”

“Well, yes, of course,” said Carl, “of course I will.”

He told Ray Jay to follow the river into the jungle until he came to a cozy place on the

jungle floor.

Carl told him, “There you will find my family and lots and lots of berries.”

“Thank you,” said Ray Jay, “I’ll be on my way then.” And then he flew away. As he was

leaving, he called back to Carl, “Enjoy your day, friend, and I will see you around.” Carl

just smiled.
