                       Students will add, subtract, multiply and divide directed numbers, estimate square roots and cube
               roots ,use indices and the index laws for multiplication and division of positive integer powers, multiply and
               divide whole numbers and decimals by 10 to the power of any positive or negative integer, multiply by
               decimals, divide by decimals, round numbers to a given number of decimal places or significant figures, use
               the order of operations, consolidate writing a fraction in its simplest form, add, subtract, multiply and divide
               fractions, solve word problems mentally, recognise when fractions or percentages are needed to compare
               different quantities, solve problems involving percentage changes, compare two ratios, recognise when two
               quantities  are  directly  proportional;  solve  problems  involving  proportionality,  calculate  the  interior  or
               exterior angle of any regular polygon, solve problems using properties of angles, of parallel and intersecting
               lines, and of triangles, other polygons and circles, draw 3D shapes, analyse 3D shapes through plans and
               elevations,  identify  reflection  symmetry  in  3D  shapes,  recognise  and  use  spatial  relationships  in  two
               dimensions and three dimensions, construct the perpendicular from a point to a line and the perpendicular
               from a point on a line, inscribe squares, equilateral triangles, and regular hexagons and octagons , know and
               use Pythagoras’ theorem to solve two-dimensional problems, tessellate triangles and quadrilaterals and
               relate to angle sums and half-turn rotations , solve problems involving translations, rotations, reflections
               and enlargements,  transform 2D  shapes by combinations  of rotations,  reflections and  translations,  use
               bearings to solve problems involving distance and direction, make and use scale drawings and interpret
               maps,  solve  problems  involving  measurements,  average  speed,  use  compound  measures  to  make
               comparisons in real-life contexts, convert between metric units of area and volume, know hectares (ha),
               convert between hectares and square metres, solve problems involving the circumference and area of
               circles, calculate lengths, surface areas and volumes in right-angled prisms and cylinders, construct tables of
               values and plot the graphs of linear functions, rearranging the equation into the form y = mx + c, find the
               approximate solutions of a simple pair of simultaneous linear equations, construct functions arising from
               real-life problems, solve problems involving direct proportion, generate terms of a sequence using term-to-
               term and position-to-term rules, derive an expression to describe the nth term of an arithmetic sequence,
               find the inverse of a linear function. Compare and understand how to use this skill in daily life and develop
               thinking skills in the 21st century.
                       This  subject  uses  knowledge  and  understanding  creating  process  ,  working  process  ,  analysis
               process, grouping process and problem solving process  in teaching and studying.
                       The knowledge and the processes are designed to develop the students’ desirable characteristics
               which  are  love  of  nation,  religion  and  king,  Honesty  and  integrity,  Self-discipline,  Avidity  for  learning,
