Now, do you mind if I ask you some questions so that we can learn more about you and Peter?
[Ask fact-finding questions about the injury, care needs, desired hours/ schedule, family dynamics, and insurance]
[Barbara answers questions]
Michelle: Thank you so much for your patience. I know that was a lot of questions, but getting the full picture helps us help you and your husband in the best way possible.
Barbara: Okay. And what happens if we don’t “click” with the nurses you send?
Michelle: Once we identify available nurses with the right skills, we
do our very best to make the best match. Good relationships are so important to a successful home care fit, so we want to learn about you, your husband, and family. I want you to feel completely comfortable, letting me know what’s important to you and what your preferences are.
Barbara: Ok, thanks. So, what’s next?
Michelle: I’m going to start working on this right now and see who’s available and would be a good fit for you and your husband. I will call you back tomorrow by 3 pm and give you an update on staffing. Does that sound okay?
