          THEIR OPTIONS – YEAR 11

Choosing what to do when a student finishes year 11 means they need
to think about what they would like to study when they leave school. It
can be confusing to make this decision if they aren’t sure what all the
different qualifications and levels available to them mean.

Up until now, they will have mainly taken qualifications chosen for them
          by their school.

Now they have more choice — they can make choices about their own
learning and the qualifications that go with it. This can influence their
options for future education or employment.
