       About the Author
                     Dr. Maribeth Edmunds is Director of Secondary Education with the South Brunswick School District. She
                     has served as an English teacher and then as an elementary school principal before assuming the role of
                     director. Maribeth earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton
                     Hall University where she now teaches graduate courses as an adjunct. Dr. Edmunds is committed to high
                     academic achievement for all students and quality professional development for teachers. You can follow

                     Dr. Aparna Rajagopal is Supervisor of STEM with South Brunswick School District. Aparna earned
                     her doctorate in Physics for research done at the University of Pune, India, and Fritz Haber Institute of
                     the Max Planck Society in Berlin, Germany. Subsequently, she did postdoctoral research at Princeton
                     University, University of Namur in Belgium and Rutgers University. She has served as a Physics teacher,
                     Chair of the high school science department, and assistant principal of the high school before assuming
                     her current role of STEM supervisor. She is Director of Course Development at The Competitiveness
       Mindset Institute (CMI), a non-profit organization dedicated to research and education in the area of competitiveness,
       professional effectiveness and leadership. Aparna’s focus in education has been in the area of providing access for all.
