           About the Author

                         Pedro Trivella has been an ESL/Bilingual Elementary School educator in Asbury Park, NJ for the last 9
                         years. He is currently earning an Administrative Certification from the NJEXCEL program. Pedro proudly
                         founded the first Asbury Park District Bilingual Committee (BASTA) 2 years ago. He has been fortunately
                         enough to share the BASTA “Love without Borders” mission in various venues such as the International
                         Model School Conference in 2017.
