Free Online Training in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
Since the programme was announced in the November NFF News more than 140 persons have successfully completed their online food hygiene test, with almost 100 completing the Health & Safety test.
While this free online resource provides quality training and assessment, it (like some other online offerings) is not a recognised, accredited qualification. To gain that recognised qualification trainees will need to sit an invigilated examination after completing the online learning.

HACCP Volunteers Wanted
Seafish Onshore Training are to start development of a training guide in HACCP Planning for Fishmongers.
As part of the development process they would like to work with a small number of fishmongers who will provide feedback and comment on the draft materials.
