Our National Park is loved for its big green open spaces which offer miles and miles of wonderful walking. We have something for everyone; stroll around a lake, follow a forest trail or head into the hills for a hike.
Warden walk recommendation Herbert’s Quarry
On the A4069, midway between Brynamman and Llangadog
Perched high up on a mountain side in the West of the Park, Herbert’s Quarry was once a hive of industrial activity. Now the remains of its lime kilns and quarries make a remarkable other worldly site with a landscape of craggy cliffs, grassy humps and quarry faces.
