For a great family day out a trip the Hop Pocket Shopping Village only a few miles away at Bishops Frome is a must. This 5.5 acre site hosts over 15 independent retailers from cookware to clothing, toys to antiques, furniture to food and drink.
Alongside their lovely garden centre sits a large childrens’ play area, extensive café and restaurant, and huge craft and gift emporium. Finish off with a little heritage in their interesting ‘Year of the Hop’ museum. What a lovely day out.
For the wine buff take a tour and tasting at local growers Frome Valley Vineyard, who’s vines adorn the hillsides of the River Frome.
