Here are the foundational steps to begin exploring
your own Deep Rest state, drawing from the principles
Evelyn and Liam discovered:
1. Create Your Sanctuary:
◦ Silence: Find a quiet space where you
won't be disturbed. Turn off notifications,
silence your phone, and inform others you
need uninterrupted time.
◦ Darkness: Dim the lights, draw the
curtains, or use a comfortable eye mask.
Minimize all visual stimuli.
◦ Comfort: Lie down or sit comfortably.
Ensure your body is relaxed and
supported. A comfortable bed, a recliner,
or even a yoga mat can work. The goal is
to remove any physical distractions.
◦ Te m p e r a t u re : E n s u r e t h e r o o m
temperature is comfortable, neither too hot
nor too cold.
2. Focus on Your Breath (The Anchor):
◦ Begin by simply observing your breath.
Don't try to change it, just notice the
natural rhythm of your inhales and
exhales.
