The Fifth Conspirator
The safe house was silent except for the hum of Jinji’s servers.
Henry had not gone to the coordinates.
Not yet.
At 11:49, Jinji locked the building down and threatened to sedate him with whatever Vincent kept in the first-aid cabinet.
At 11:52, Claire called and told him if he went alone, she would personally expose every private embarrassment he had left.
At 11:56, Vincent arrived without his collar and said nothing at all.
That stopped him more effectively than either threat. So they waited.
Midnight came.
Nothing happened.
No light.
No voice.
No final phase.
