Pacific Grove is home to many unique
Steak and ‘Chokes restaurants. Although I’ve visited many,
this restaurant in particular is worth
mentioning: The Spotted Duck. This
restaurant, located in downtown Pacific
Grove, features fusion-like dishes,
Drunken Skillet Seared Octopus
captivating unique flavors as well as comforting flavors all
in one dish. The atmosphere is elegant, making it suitable
for family dinners, business appointments, and dinner
dates. On my visit to The Spotted Duck, I tasted 5 dishes:
the Drunken Skillet Seared Octopus, the Spotted Duck
Cheese Fries, the Crispy Seared Duck Breast, Sautéed
Rock Cod, Steak and ‘Chokes, and Chocolate Pot de Creme.
Starting with the appetizers, including the Drunken
Crispy Seared Duck Breast Skillet Seared Octopus and the Spotted Duck Cheese
Fries, my personal favorite was the Drunken Skillet Seared
