Selfstudy
Selfpaced instruction is any kind of instruction that proceeds based on learner
response. The content itself can be curriculum, corporate training, technical tutorials,
or any other subject that does not require the immediate response of an instructor.
Webbased learning
Webbased learning consists of technology that supports traditional
classroom training and online learning environments. "Pure" webbased courses are
wholly based on computer and online possibilities. In this case, all communication
and learning activities are done online.
CDROMs
A CDROM can be used to browse the web offline, as a single CDROM has the
capacity to store vast amounts of textual content, including entire web sites. With the
project on which this paper is based, text files, PowerPoint presentations, and tests
for the entire course were transferred to a CDROM.
Audio and Visuals
Audiovisual (AV) learning is a type of learning which is described by delivery
and the use of instructional content that involves sound (auditory stimuli) and sight
(visual stimuli).
